Book Signing & Panel Discussion with KIND
Wednesday, Oct 10, 2012 – 6:00 PM-7:30 PM
Microsoft Innovation & Policy Center, Washington, DC
Join Green Card Stories collaborator Stephen Yale-Loehr and other guests for a discussion focused on the contributions of young immigrants to the United States and book signing with Kids in Need of Defense.
This will be an evening to recognize and celebrate recent immigrants to the United States, many of whom came at a young age and left behind lives of fear and instability for the protection of the United States. Learn about their stories and meet a young person who came to the United States alone as a child seeking safety in the U.S.
Panelists
Stephen Yale-Loehr, Cornell Law School Adjunct Professor, Immigration Attorney and Co-Editor of Green Card Stories
Brad Smith, KIND Board Co-Chair and Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Microsoft
Wendy Young, KIND Executive Director
Young Immigrant who Came to the United States Alone

The presentation will be followed by a reception and signing.
